[Liang Baoer Mabo] Research on Intangible Cultural Heritage Tourism Resources

Executive summary: People's attention to intangible cultural heritage is increasing, but the understanding of basic issues such as the concept expression, scope of coverage, protection status and utilization methods of intangible cultural heritage is still relatively vague.

This paper analyzes the main provisions of the Convention for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage and the Interim Measures for the Application and Evaluation of Representative Works of National Intangible Cultural Heritage, and believes that these two authoritative documents are the key to clarifying doubts, and discusses the protection and utilization of intangible cultural heritage as a tourism resource with the main line of "protection first, reasonable utilization".

The definition of "intangible cultural heritage" The Convention for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage (2003) stipulates: "Intangible cultural heritage includes the following aspects: (a) oral legends and expressions, including language as a medium of intangible cultural heritage;(b) performing arts;(c) social practices, rituals, festivals;(d) knowledge and practices about nature and the universe; and (e) traditional handicrafts." Obviously, the standard used in the document is a five-point scale, and the actual results announced are six-point scale (defined with the expression "cultural place").

The question is how to view the category of "cultural spaces (cultural places)".

The Regulations on the Declaration of 'Representative Works of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Mankind' stipulate: "The anthropological concept of a cultural place is determined as a place where folk and traditional cultural activities are concentrated, but it is also determined as a period of time generally characterized by a certain cycle (cycle seasonal schedule, etc.) or a certain event.

The existence of this time and this place depends on the very existence of cultural activities carried out in traditional ways." According to this rather awkward statement,"cultural place (cultural space)" should be understood as a specific space that overlaps or symbioses with cultural events within a certain period of time.

It is easy to be vague if it is divided into a separate category.

Therefore, in order to protect the spiritual home of mankind and keep the incense alive, it is urgent to "take measures to ensure the vitality of intangible cultural heritage, including the identification, documentation, research, preservation, protection, publicity, promotion, inheritance (especially through formal and informal education) and revitalization"(Convention for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage).

To promote social atmosphere into dusk, along the bluestone road of Dayan Ancient City, we came to a compound with the style of Naxi houses, with the sign "Lijiang Dayan Ancient Music Fair" hanging at the door.

This is the place where ancient Naxi music is performed.
