What causes bone steam and night sweats?

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that symptoms of bone steaming and night sweats are caused by excessive fire due to yin deficiency, but are more common in clinical practice in tuberculosis, traumatic blood loss, sympathetic dysfunction or female menopause. Bone steaming and night sweats will manifest as a low fever in the afternoon and at night, but the body temperature is basically normal, a fever feeling when touched by the skin, five nerves are hot, and both cheeks are flushed. Sweating will occur when sleeping, but it will remain normal after waking up. Patients can choose to take traditional Chinese medicine orally for relief, or they can use acupuncture, massage and other methods to relax the muscles and tendons, and nourish yin and reduce fire. If factors such as tuberculosis infection exist, symptomatic intervention is needed to control the progression of the disease.
