Four criteria for obesity

People are usually accustomed to using only one criterion to measure obesity, which is standard weight. In fact, this is incomplete and unscientific. To accurately, reasonably and comprehensively reflect body shape and health status, it should be measured from at least the following four aspects:

1. Look at the standard weight

The standard weight Kg is "height cm 105" for men and "height cm 107" for women.

2. Look at body mass index

That is, BMI= weight/height square, and the number of men is 20- 25, and women is 19- 24, which is normal; men are less than 20 and women are less than 19, they are thin, and men are more than 25 and women are more than 24, they are more than fat.

3. Look at the circumference standard

The proportional relationship between chest, waist, abdomen and buttocks should be reasonable.

4. Look at inner health

That is, the normal and healthy operation of breathing, circulation, nerve, endocrine, digestion, excretion, and reproduction systems, which is specifically manifested in various aspects such as blood pressure, heart rate, lung capacity, endurance, strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and sensitivity.

As for whether the figure is beautiful enough from the appearance, it can be simply judged as follows:

Male: Wide shoulders, thick chest, flat abdomen, narrow buttocks, thick legs

Female: Round shoulders, plump breasts, flat belly, raised buttocks, straight legs (Internship Editor: Zheng Yanjun)
