This is also an important reason why Li Xiaozhong decided to spread yoga culture after practicing yoga for 10 years.
From open classes for thousands of people to training for dozens of people, Li Xiaozhong began to promote rigorous, precise and safe Iyengar yoga in various cities in the country. "Almost every ten days, it appears in a new city. I feel like I don't stop, but I feel very happy. Seeing so many yoga enthusiasts, I am so eager to practice."
In Li Xiaozhong's eyes, yoga is a good circulation system. You cultivate and gain energy so that you can live happily. After gaining it, energy should also be given in to obtain a good cycle. For him, he obviously found the best way to give, which is to hold open classes across the country to spread the light of yoga.
Yoga: The best physical therapist
It was purely accidental that yoga entered Li Xiaozhong's life. A sudden car accident almost shattered him to pieces. He talked about this experience calmly and felt that he was still very lucky because yoga had forever changed the trajectory of his life. At that time, Li Xiaozhong was still a software engineer. In order to restore mobility, he asked around. Finally, he heard that yoga was very effective for postoperative recovery, so he started practicing yoga. Unexpectedly, yoga not only allowed him to regain the vitality of his life, but also changed the direction of his life.
His current life is very simple and balanced. Get up before 6 o'clock, and start the day's morning exercise from 6 o'clock to 8 o'clock. During the day, I am usually busy with training or classes. Three vegetarian meals a day, and go to bed at 10 o'clock every night. "In fact, yoga controls the balance of your life well. You may think that such a schedule is impossible for urbanites, but it is because of this schedule that I can squeeze in so much time to practice. At the same time, I give lectures in dozens of cities every year." In Li Xiaozhong's view, yoga is the best physical therapist. It allows you to understand your body and emotions well, observe quietly little by little, and be meticulous to your own breath.
He feels that he is very fulfilling now. Although life is simple, he is full of motivation. Since 2006, he has regularly held free open classes in a city every year, hoping that more people will experience precise and pure yoga. He would also squeeze in some time to go to his yoga shrine regularly to practice.
Yoga: Combining nature and practice
Li Xiaozhong has traveled almost to the most famous yoga resorts in the world, from the yoga school in Rishikesh, India, to the practice site in Goa on the sea, to the yoga studio in the Himalayas. What impressed him most was the small yoga practice site in Goa on the coast of India. Everything was very simple and had no reinforced concrete. The house was made of bamboo and coconut shells. The daily recipes were pure beans, coconut juice and wheat cakes. Every day, each student has to clean the yard, house, and wash clothes by himself.
Work and rest schedules are strict and unchangeable in any yoga school. At his training site in Goa, Li Xiaozhong gets up at 5 o'clock every day and starts practicing. Class starts at 8:30 and stays until 1 p.m. After that, there is a few hours of rest and lunch. Classes for the second period begin from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. After 8 o'clock, do meditation and then go to bed.
Li Xiaozhong was lucky enough to meet his mentor Shrant in India. The 56-year-old Shrant was a very simple and simple person. Shrant's family background is also quite legendary. He is a descendant of a prominent family in Mumbai. When he was young, he had been receiving traditional aristocratic education in Europe. After returning to India, he began to practice yoga. During the practice, he slowly discovered that yoga is a philosophy that can explain life and that yoga can make him simple and happy. Therefore, he resolutely abandoned all aristocratic titles and property after him and became a practitioner of Iyengar Yoga.
