The 78-year-old man created his own "soft" yoga head that clips between his legs

In Lingbao City, citizens can often see such an "old urchin"-running crazily on the concrete floor with bare feet in the morning; twisting his body into various shapes on the lawn like doing yoga; even riding a bicycle, he has to be different from others: when he gets on and off the bus, he has to wrap his legs around the handlebars every time.

He is 78-year-old Zhang Jizhou. Relying on his own exercise method, he stopped all medicines two years ago and regained his "youthful time" after being ill.

As soon as we met, Zhang Jizhou showed us all his unique skills: he could reach out with his arms from behind and touch his ears; bend down so that his head could be sandwiched between his legs; and his elbows could touch each other behind his back. Together...

"As the saying goes,'Soft and harmonious, hard and hard.' As long as the body is soft, no disease will come to you." Such an ordinary folk saying was summarized by him as a way to health.

Zhang Jizhou was a college student in the 1950s and joined the Zhengzhou University basketball team in 1956. After graduation, he was assigned to the Andi Gold Mine to build a laboratory, and he later contributed to the construction of many laboratories in Luoyang. Relying on his youth and good health, he worked hard at work. After retirement, he suffered from a series of diseases: diabetes, high blood pressure, hyperplasia of the cervical spine, scapulohumeral periarthritis, and severe deformation of the lumbar spine... At the age of 65, he went to Xi'an for a major operation. After the operation, he couldn't eat, couldn't breathe, and his neck and limbs were stiff. Zhang Jizhou "felt like he was dying."

"You can't lie in bed and wait to die," so Zhang Jizhou, who "thinks about change when he is sick", began his own path of exercise.

Zhang Jizhou exercised in his own way, and later his physical condition changed a lot. Two years ago, he stopped all medication. Combined with his own health preservation method, he summed up three sentences: eating is better than eating; eating is better than exercising; and exercising is better than nourishing the heart.

Zhang Jizhou said that many people feel that they don't have time to exercise. In fact, if exercise is integrated into daily life, their bodies can be exercised all the time. At home, Zhang Jizhou does his own washing and cooking, cleans and mops, and even does his own needlework such as sewing clothes and quilts.

"My two sons and four daughters all have cars. I never ride in their cars." Whether Zhang Jizhou went to the mine to chat with his old friends or went to Sanmenxia to do business, he always rode a bicycle and rarely even took a bus.

At the end of the interview, Zhang Jizhou said that he was willing to hold free health knowledge training classes so that more people could share his happiness. (Editor in charge: Chen Shaopeng)
