High-temperature yoga, detoxification and body loss quickly
What is high temperature yoga?
"High Temperature Yoga" is to complete 26 fixed yoga postures in 60 minutes at room temperature of around 40 ° C and a strict ventilation system. For yoga, which emphasizes body stretching, the role of temperature cannot be ignored. Bikram Choudhury once made an image metaphor for high-temperature yoga: After heating a piece of steel, its shape can be easily changed with a hammer, but the shape of steel without heating is extremely difficult to change. Therefore, an indoor temperature of 40 ° C not only increases the body temperature, but also accelerates blood circulation and softens muscles and bones that are hardened due to lack of exercise. In this way, even a body that lacks exercise in normal times can more easily complete different stretching movements and avoid being injured. Therefore, high-temperature yoga is very suitable for beginners or people who have long lacked exercise.
The effect of "high temperature yoga"
1. Quickly reduce fat and lose weight.
2. Stimulate the lymphatic system and eliminate toxins in the body.
3. Enhance muscle firmness, exercise body softness, and prevent sports injuries.
4. Strengthen the autonomic nervous system, cultivate concentration, and enhance self-confidence.
5. Improve cardiopulmonary function, promote blood circulation and metabolism, help digestion, and improve body immunity.
6. It has a therapeutic effect on long-term insomnia, migraines, low back pain, cervical spondylosis, and gastrointestinal diseases. It can also reduce facial wrinkles and make people feel young.
Eight Attention Points for "High Temperature Yoga" Practice
1. Practice in sweat-absorbing and comfortable sportswear.
2. Don't eat at least 2 hours before practice. The blood needed by the stomach during food digestion can only be deprived from the circulating blood that gives the practitioner a "boost" and is full of oxygen. In severe cases, hypoxia may occur, dizziness, nausea, tachycardia, etc.
3. No conversation during practice.
4. You must add enough water during the practice process. Drink water in small sips at intervals. Don't drink too much pure water, it will wash away minerals from the body, so that the body no longer retains water. It is best to drink sports drinks rich in electrolytes and minerals, and never let your body exercise at full speed while being "thirsty".
5. Be sure to cooperate with your breathing during practice.
6. People with severe colds, fever, kidney disease, diabetes, epilepsy, heart disease, and high blood pressure are not suitable for practicing high-temperature yoga.
7. Don't be late, so you won't be able to complete the 26 action systems. It is recommended to practice three times a week.
8. Taking vitamin B before class can prevent dehydration, and taking vitamins C and E after class can prevent oxidation.
real experience
Because of my "long history" of high-temperature yoga, I prepared two bottles of mineral water and a clean towel for myself before class. As a yoga enthusiast, this is the second time I have experienced high-temperature yoga. For the first time in Shanghai, my feelings were discounted because of the coach's all-English teaching and the embarrassment of 14 people lying side by side to practice. When I approached the high-temperature yoga room of Baolihao Fitness Club, I breathed a sigh of relief. The spacious classroom at least would no longer allow me to "fight side by side" with others. When you step into the classroom, you immediately feel the hot air coming from your face. The geothermal heating equipment keeps the temperature of the entire room constant at around 38 degrees. Fortunately, the green bamboo around you makes it easier to calm down.
The coach started the class after introducing the precautions. The 26 movements of high-temperature yoga are not difficult. Everyone can do what they can according to their physical conditions and relax in the elegant music. Interestingly, some movements that are not done properly in normal temperature yoga classes are easier in high temperature yoga classes. You can obviously feel that the body has become soft and flexible under the action of high temperature, and the long-term strained cervical vertebrae and shoulders seem to have relaxed a lot. Ten minutes later, I began to sweat profusely. Look at the people next to you, they are also sweating profusely. One man walked to the door automatically because it was too hot and slowed down-this was the adjustment method the coach told everyone in advance. Water and towels quickly came into use. As required, I tried to drink small amounts of water as many times as possible, but a bottle of water was still eliminated in half class. Fortunately, the design of yoga movements always crosses static control and balance coordination, and the body trains rhythmically in tension and relief, so everyone can persist well. In 50 minutes, I was sweating like a "rainstorm", and I felt like the depression I had been holding in for the whole winter had been drained out with my sweat. "I haven't had a chance to sweat like this in a long time." A beautiful girl next to me told me how I felt. The whole body is relaxed, as if it has been combed. Because of my first experience, I paid special attention to the ventilation system of the room. The ventilation was better, there was no "cross" intrusion of sweat, and I was in a happy mood.
