Advanced yoga breathing skills clear meridians and recuperation

Clearing meridians and recuperation means using your right hand to control your nostrils to breathe. Bend your index and middle fingers and adduct them (or press on the center of your forehead).

Phase 1 method:

(1) Press the right thumb on the right nostril and breathe slowly 5 times only with the left nostril (complete breathing);

(2) Loosen your thumb, press your left nostril with your ring finger, and breathe 5 times through your right nostril (complete breathing);

(3) Conduct a total of 25 rounds.

Note: Don't breathe too hard. Exhale and inhale for as long as you inhale. If you have no difficulty practicing for 15-20 days, you can enter the second stage.

Phase 2 approach:

(1) Breathing alternately through the left and right nostrils. Press the right thumb on the right nostril and inhale through the left nostril;

(2) Press your left nostril with your ring finger, loosen your right thumb, and exhale from your right nostril;

(3) Inhale, press the right thumb on the right nostril, release the ring finger, and exhale from the left nostril;

(4) This is one round, and each practice should be done for 25 rounds.

Note: Practice the first and second stages together for 10 days.

In the third stage, hold your breath after each inhale (no breath or no breath), and the duration of inhale, hold your breath and exhale is the same.

Method: (1) Inhale in from your left nostril and hold your breath;

(2) Exhale from the right nostril;

(3) Inhale in the right nostril... hold your breath;

(4) Exhale from your left nostril

note

Meaning: Hold your breath according to your personal level. Do it step by step for 25 rounds, complete it within your ability, and then move on to the next stage.

In the fourth stage, hold your breath whether you inhale or exhale (suspended breath).

Method: (1) Inhale in the left nostril and hold your breath (suspended breath);

(2) Exhale through the right nostril and hold your breath (external suspension);

(3) Inhale and hold your breath through your right nostril;

(4) Exhale through the left nostril and hold your breath.

Note: Do 25 rounds gradually, with the inner and outer suspension times being equal.

Effectiveness:

(1) Clean up obstacles in the meridian system, especially open up the left meridian (left nostril) and right meridian (right nostril), so that the vital energy flows unimpeded in the meridian channels (middle meridians);

(2) Remove toxins from the blood and completely eliminate all exhaust gas from the lungs;

(3) Withdraw people's various senses, perceptions and souls from the objects of perception;

(4) Improve inner spiritual strength to achieve spiritual rejuvenation, inner tranquility, peace and clarity. (Internship Editor: Wu Jinyu)
