In the prosperous world, let us meditate in yoga
In modern urban life, people are often bound by pressure and are always nervous and busy. If this continues, our bodies will naturally have a lot of pressure to bear. So let us do meditation yoga and let us put aside The troubles of this world, enter a quiet world, and feel the peace and tranquility.
According to yoga experts, meditation is an adventure, the greatest adventure that the human mind can bear. Meditation just exists and does not do anything-there is no action, no thoughts, no emotions, you just exist, it is a kind of total Joy, when you do nothing, where does this joy come from? It comes nowhere, or it comes from everywhere, and it has no reason, because existence is made of the material called joy.
When you do nothing-physically, psychologically, on any level-when all activities stop, you just exist and are, and that is meditation. You cannot do it, you cannot practice it: you can only realize it.
Whenever you can find just existence, then you give up all your actions. Thinking is also doing, concentrating is also doing, and thinking is also doing. Even for just a moment, you don't do anything, you just are at your center, completely relaxing-that is meditation. And once you get the knack for it, you can be in that state for as long as you want, and eventually you can be in that state twenty-four hours a day.
Once you have realized that your nature can remain undisturbed, you can gradually start doing something and keep your nature alert to being undisturbed. That is the second part of meditation-first, learning how to exist, and then learning to act a little bit. Clean the floor, take a shower, but keep yourself centered, and then you can do more complex things.
For example, someone is giving a speech to you, but his meditation is not disturbed. He can continue to speak, but in his center, there is not even a slight disturbance. It is just tranquility, complete tranquility.
So meditation is not opposed to action, it is not asking you to escape life, it just teaches you a new way of life: you become the center of the whirlwind, your life continues, and in fact it continues more strongly-with more happiness, with more clarity, with more insight, with more creativity-but you are transcendental, just a spectator on a hill, just watching everything happening around you.
You are not a doer, you are a witness.
That is the whole secret of meditation-you become a spectator. "Doing" continues on its own level, and there is no problem: cutting firewood and fetching water, you do small and big things, and there is only one thing you are not allowed to do, and that is, your center should not be lost.
That awareness and that reflection should always be maintained without being obscured or disturbed.
Meditation yoga should reflect that meditation is a kind of tranquility in a state of mind, tranquility without interference from the outside world. (Internship Editor: Wu Jinyu)
