How to benefit more from yoga classes
Don't eat for two to three hours before class. If you practice yoga after a full meal, you are likely to experience cramps, nausea, and vomiting, especially when doing twists, downward bends, and handstands. Digesting food also requires energy, which makes you mentally sleepy.
1. Arrive early. Arriving 10 minutes early will allow you to settle down and adjust your state to be consistent with the purpose of the class. During the waiting time, you can practice a yoga pose and do some stretching activities, or you can sit or lie calmly, adjust your breathing to calm your mind.
2. Wear comfortable and elastic clothing and practice barefoot to enhance the perception of the soles of your feet.
3. Please do not leave your mobile phone on during class. Isolate your social activities outside the classroom and don't disrupt the quiet practice environment.
4. Please keep quiet. It's great to take yoga classes with your friends, but loud conversations can disturb others 'attention.
5. If you sweat too much, bring your own towel or mat. Don't wear perfume to avoid disturbing others.
6. Let the teacher know about your illness and physical condition. If you are injured or tired, you should skip those postures you cannot or shouldn't do, or try an easier version of the postures.
7. Set a goal. To help you focus, you can set a specific practice goal. This goal may be to make yourself smarter, more tolerant, more loving, or healthier, stronger, and more flexible.
8. Don't force yourself to pose. Only do what is within your own ability, and don't force yourself to do what others can do, otherwise you will hurt your body. Start with what your body can do, rather than where you think you should, and take care of yourself, you will be able to make rapid progress.
9. Please try not to leave early. Savasana (the last relaxing position) is the most important position.
10. Please put the props you have used back neatly after class. (Internship Editor: Wu Jinyu)
