2015 33rd Coney Island "Mermaid" Parade, New York, USA

The "Mermaid" Parade was born in 1983 and was established to commemorate the "Brooklyn Carnival". The annual parade is held on a Saturday in early summer without interruption. It is intended to bring myth into residents 'lives, create confidence, and allow residents to perform artistic self-expression in public places.

Now the parade has become one of the most lively carnival events in New York's summer and one of the most grand events in New York since the beginning of summer.

On June 20, 2015 local time, the 33rd "Mermaid" Parade was grandly held on Coney Island, New York. As in previous years, participants in the parade all changed into the most eye-catching styles and took to the streets to celebrate. Although it was still cool and eye-catching, beautiful women attracted the most attention, but the interest of the hilarious people remained undiminished. Fashionable men and women's clothes, children's funny costumes, and even grandfathers and old ladies 'dresses are all unique. The hot summer and the hot atmosphere are really unbearable!

People carefully dress up as mermaids, water monsters, sea gods, sailors and other images, and walk to the surfing avenue of Coney Island to show their creativity and enthusiasm. Various bands and vaudeville are another beautiful scenery in the parade.
