Can't you keep your mouth shut when you lose weight? Tell you how harmful high-fat food is
Attractive color of braised pork, sweet cream cake... high-fat food always makes people love-hate and irresistible. As everyone knows, the price of enjoying delicious food is huge.
The brain slows down. Studies have found that free saturated fatty acids in a high-fat diet can lead to a decrease in the number of protein transporters in the blood-brain barrier, resulting in a lack of glucose in the hippocampus and cerebral cortex, causing problems such as inattention and slow response.
Interference with metabolism. Researchers at the University of California, Irvine, have found that a high-fat diet affects the molecular mechanisms that control the body's internal "clock", induces metabolic disorders, and leads to metabolic diseases such as diabetes and obesity.
Causes liver disease. Scientists at the Helmholtz Munich Center in Germany have found that lipids in high-fat foods activate immune cells and migrate to the liver, where they interact with cells in liver tissue, causing a series of liver diseases. For example, fatty liver disease is caused by excessive intake of fat, sugar, and lack of exercise.
Causes inflammation. A research team at the University of Minnesota found that high-fat foods are one of the key factors in inducing inflammation. Obesity caused by a high-fat diet is usually accompanied by a series of inflammatory diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, etc.
Damage to the cardiovascular system. Blood is the source of life, but many diseases are also closely related to blood. Long-term consumption of high-fat foods can easily lead to thick blood and high blood lipids, induce atherosclerosis plaques and thrombus on the blood vessel wall, resulting in narrowing and thinning of the lumen, sluggish blood flow, hypoxia and ischemia in body organs, etc. If the energy provided by fat in each person's diet per day exceeds 30% of the total energy per day, the prevalence and mortality of coronary heart disease will increase significantly. Saturated fatty acid intake is positively correlated with the incidence and mortality of coronary heart disease.
induce cancer. A high-fat and high-calorie diet also provides opportunities for breast cancer, bowel cancer, gastric cancer, esophageal cancer, etc. Researchers at the Breast Cancer and Environmental Research Program at Michigan State University have found that eating a high-fat diet among adolescent girls increases the risk of breast cancer and accelerates the progression of the disease. In addition, studies have found that a high-fat diet can disrupt the flora in the intestine, which in turn causes bowel cancer.
So how do we fight the ubiquitous fatty foods?
First of all, when eating meat, fish is the first choice, followed by poultry meat, and livestock meat is the second; 2~3 liang meat food intake is guaranteed every day, and processed meat products such as ham and sausage should be eaten less.
Secondly, observe and discover invisible fat. The most easily ignored by us are animal internal organs, such as liver, belly, intestines, etc. In order to avoid consuming too much cholesterol and fat, the amount of food consumed by animal internal organs must be controlled. Among delicious seafood, squid and eel have high cholesterol content, while shrimp, crab, sardines and clams have cholesterol concentrated in the head and egg yolk, which should be removed when eating.
Third, cooking methods are important. Eat less foods such as grilled squid on sizzling plate, and use daily cooking methods such as steaming and boiling with less oil and salt. Reduce eating out. Surveys show that the oil content of some vegetarian dishes in restaurants is very alarming. On average, a plate of oily wheat vegetables (weighing 500 grams raw) can contain 50 grams of oil, and the daily oil intake per person should not exceed 30 grams. If you eat out, be sure to tell you to "put less oil".
Finally, control your daily diet. If you eat less sweets, too much sugar will be converted into triglycerides in the body, causing fat to accumulate; if you restrict drinking alcohol, alcohol will consume coenzymes when it is metabolized in the liver, making fatty acids under-oxidized and promoting triglyceride synthesis. Excessive intake will also raise high blood lipids.
