Why do yoga poses use animal names?

Any external or internal factor that makes the mind too tense will cause our mind to lose balance. As a result, neural function is hindered, mental coordination begins to weaken, and some people's internal changes develop more slowly, while others develop faster. This can manifest itself in any aspect of our lives.

If a person is in a state of excessive stress for a long time (excessive stress includes emptiness, depression, tension, anger, depression, etc.), it will lead to the loss of coordination of nerves and further cause mental illness. As a result, individuals lose control of their thoughts, behaviors, manners, behaviors, and opinions on problems (of course, we often find that sometimes only part of their abilities are lost), and various expressions and behaviors appear beyond normal.

This problem is wide-ranging and can affect people of any age, any gender, any country, and any social and economic background. As a result, two questions arise before us: first, how to stop and change the diseases and problems that we consider to be caused by the spirit; second, how and in what ways can we maintain and control the mind and restore the spirit to what I consider to be healthy.

In yoga, we can find answers about prevention and healing.

In order to understand the principles of yoga, it is necessary to briefly discuss the causes of mental problems. All factors that can affect the human spirit mainly come from three basic aspects: nature, society, and self. It is a specific factor that causes a person's mental tension and imbalance, either focusing on nature, society, or self itself. In number theory yoga, these three aspects are called Brahma, material reality, and spiritual reality.

Due to the factors of mental illness caused by nature, it may be certain natural disasters, animal intimidation, or special natural phenomena. Similarly, social factors may arise from problems in religion, ethnicity, race, economy, politics, etc., and may also include difficulties in mediating customs, habits, lifestyles, etc. existing in certain sects. In addition, there are many problems that arise due to people's own beliefs, beliefs, opinions, preferences, habits, and may also arise due to certain inner feelings (such as jealousy, suspicion, revenge, insults, hobbies, fantasies, likes, hatred, etc.).

In society, whether it is an industrial society or an agricultural society, whether it is a tribal society or a primitive society, almost everyone faces various problems arising from the above three aspects. Today, we are also more or less facing many problems and mental confusion. Although the nature and form of the problems we face have changed due to changing conditions, problems always exist. Therefore, it is very useful to understand the universal human perspective of early yoga thinkers and the solutions they proposed.

Among the pioneers who contributed to the establishment of the yoga system, Gabira was the first to create the number theory philosophy system.

According to Gapirro, all questions faced by humans can be answered from specialized knowledge. Due to the lack of this specialized knowledge, those unfamiliar and rare incidents can cause people's distress. When a person discovers and grasps a specialized understanding of the self-the individual consciousness and the self, then rare events and their consequences due to any of the three factors above will not confuse or distressed him. When a person discovers and grasps specialized knowledge about the self-the individual consciousness and the self, rare events and their consequences due to any of the three factors above will not confuse or distressed him.

This specialized knowledge includes the mystery of the self-nature virtue, that is, the three virtues of China and Germany, the lower virtue, and the upper virtue, as well as the understanding of all the substances of the self-nature. The understanding of self-matter must be linked to the understanding of the composition, functions, and mutual relationships of the various sensory organs, motor organs, spirit, intelligence and other organs of the self.

If a person has considerable understanding, he will also gain the ability to overcome pain, thereby maintaining spiritual balance, and gain joy, happiness and comfort even in daily life.

However, the number theory system does not discuss methods and approaches to achieve this goal. These methods were comprehensively elaborated on by Patujali in his annotated Yoga Sutra. (Internship Editor: Wu Jinyu)
