Eight aspects to pay attention to when practicing yoga

Yoga is an ancient and traditional way of fitness that is now popular among many women. Yoga may seem gentle, but if it is not practiced properly, it may cause damage to the practitioner, such as muscle and ligament strains, meniscus injuries, joint inflammation, neuralgia, etc. In order to avoid these accidents, practitioners should not only choose regular yoga training classes, but also pay attention to the following matters when practicing.

1. Maintain a peaceful mind. When many people choose to practice yoga, their first consideration is whether they can quickly lose weight or improve their body shape, which is contrary to yoga. You should maintain a peaceful mind, not unilaterally pursue complex physical movements, and act within your capabilities according to your own situation.

2. Don't eat for an hour before and after practicing yoga, and try to avoid practicing for two hours after a meal.

3. It is not advisable to practice difficult movements six months after surgery and during female physiological periods.

4. Patients with high blood pressure, asthma and pregnant women can only perform simple movements.

5. It is better to wear barefoot and wear it loosely and comfortably so that your body can move freely.

6. It is not advisable to practice on a hard floor or a bed that is too soft. A mat should be laid on the ground during practice.

7. Practice in a peaceful and well-ventilated house, and don't place too many things in the house.

8. Don't laugh or talk while practicing, and keep breathing regularly and deeply, which helps your body relax. (Internship Editor: Li Jianhong)
