Blind pursuit of difficult movements can easily be injured

"When it comes to yoga teachers, many people think that their bodies must be particularly soft and can be twisted like hemp flowers! In fact, the difficult movements people see are only the expression of a certain part of the yoga posture. Some practitioners excessively and blindly demand that the limit be exceeded and the body be too flexible, which will inevitably bring some harm to the body, especially some older women. For example, people over the age of 40 have already formed bones and will not reach this level in the short term. If there are excessive requirements in this regard, some harm may be caused. If you practice yoga improperly, your joints, muscles and even nerves are most vulnerable to damage

Nowadays, because more people practice yoga, more physical injuries are caused, such as ligament strains, cartilage tears, joint inflammation, neuralgia, Achilles tendon tears, lumbar disc herniation, etc. Zheng Xianhong explained that "yoga disease" refers to bone, muscle and other damage caused by inappropriate practice methods.

Chen Weilun pointed out that it is usually some muscles in special parts of the body that are often stretched and stimulated, leading to problems such as muscle strains and soft tissue hyperplasia. However, these are not big problems and will recover slowly. Direct and serious injuries were caused at the sports scene, but we have not found them yet. The right training method can avoid these injuries.

Self-practice must be done within your capabilities

Chen Weilun believes that many people now choose to teach themselves and practice yoga by themselves. If this method is not practiced properly, the damage to the body will definitely be greater than if it is practiced under the guidance of a coach.

Yoga is not as simple as radio gymnastics. There are many asanas to practice yoga, some of which are difficult for some people to do. For example, the scorpion pose requires one leg to be placed on the ground, all other parts of the body should be suspended, and the head should be held high and the limbs should be stretched; this pose requires a balance of strength in support. If you didn't have a process of exercise and practice, you wouldn't be able to reach this level from the beginning. If you must do this, it will be very difficult and cause harm to your body.

Yoga practitioners should choose their own tutoring materials for practice, and should choose CD-ROMs or textbooks written by well-known yoga instructors or yogi. When selecting a textbook and training yourself, you must first understand the content of the textbook, practice according to your physical conditions, and do what you can.
