Why should I warm up before practicing yoga?
An important reason for warming up before practicing yoga is that it allows you to focus on your breathing and increase the oxygen you breathe in through deep breathing, thereby strengthening your physical strength and preparing for practicing yoga. These warm-up exercises can also wake up the body in the morning or calm down at the end of a busy day.
Blood circulation at the end of the body can also be improved by warming up, which is very helpful for feeling the stretching of your body posture. Warming up also makes it easier for the body to pose and prevent damage to the body; in addition, it reduces the stiffness of the body after practicing yoga, because increased oxygen supply and circulation reduces lactic acid produced by muscles.
The biggest benefit of warm-up is that it allows us to complete yoga movements better and have a stronger awareness of where our bodies are positioned. This process helps the brain focus on the yoga pose we will practice.
You will find that warm-up exercises are great relaxation exercises and can be done at any time and place of the day.
For example, simple stretches can be done in the office or in the cabin of an airplane during the trip. These movements can relax muscles and reduce fatigue, while also stimulating blood circulation and enhancing vitality.
The routine procedure for warm-up can be either a salute to the sun or a set of activities, involving various parts of the body, head to toe. You don't usually have as much time to complete all the movements in one exercise. We recommend that you find the action you feel you need most after trying for a while.
