Islamic Story: Ishmael and the Lord of Al-Khum
the birds soar around the impermeable spring, bringing life to this barren land.
the masters of the urhum who lived around mecca were surprised when they saw the birds hovering around this place.
they thought that the birds only lived in people's places, so they sent a few people to see the truth.
when they found the water, they went back and spread the good news.
so the main group of the al-hom came to the permeable spring.
when they saw the mother and the son of ishmael living by the spring, they asked her to agree to make them their neighbours and to drink the spring together.
the mother acceded to their request, but suggested that they could only drink the water from the spring as guests with their owners and not seize it.
the lord hume accepted.
since then, they have moved to the springs and built many houses.
when ishmael grew up, he was strong and well-informed and became a famous figure in his clan.
later on, he married a leading girl of the urhum ethnic group, who gradually learned their language and became one of them.
he lives with people in close proximity and happiness.
yet the years were cold and the mother died.
she raised him from a young age, cared for him, loved him, and left him forever, and ishmael suffered greatly.
ibrahim came here as often as he had in the past to see his son.
one time he came to mecca and walked into ishmael's house.
the son was absent and only saw his daughter-in-law.
he asked his daughter-in-law about ishmael.
the daughter-in-law told the old man that ishmael had gone out of his house.
then he complained about their suffering and about how hard their lives were and how hard their hands were.
ibrahim listened.
he was very unhappy that such a woman was not worthy of his son's wife.
as soon as she disobeyed god's decree, she was angry with her husband.
such a woman could not squeeze with her son for a long time.
abraham asked him to convey his greetings to ishmael and to tell him that the threshold of the home should be changed.
and abraham's work was to suggest that his son should give up the woman and find a better one than her.
a few days later, ishmael came home.
he seems to have a hunch about his wife: "did anyone come to our house?" the wife replied: "yes, there was an old man who asked about you and seemed to care about you.
i also told him the difficult circumstances of our lives." ishmael asked his wife, "did the old man tell you anything?" the wife replied: “yes, he asked me to greet you and said that you should change the threshold at home.” ishmael says, "that old man is my father! he asked me to stop you." after that, he left his wife without regret.
not long after abraham came to visit his son.
he came to his son ' s house immediately after he had heard of his new residence.
on this occasion he still did not see his son and saw his new wife.
he asked ishmael where he was and his daughter-in-law told him that he had gone out to earn a living.
when ibrahim asked about their lives, she told the old people that they had a good life and praised their husbandsI don't know.
He knew from her words that she was a man of her own accord.
At a later stage, he asked her to convey his greetings to Ishmael and instructed her to tell Ishmael to keep the threshold of the home safe.
After that, he left.
When Ishmael came back that night, the husband and wife had a family.
The wife told him: “There is an old man who came here today to inquire about you, and who left me to convey his greetings to you, and to instruct you to keep the threshold of the home safe”.
Ishmael said, "He's my father.
He instructed me to live with you and never to separate.” As a result, he grew old with his second wife, and she had many children with him。
