Indian mythology: Winter Wind
once upon a time, the chinooks encountered a harsh winter.
the snow on the ground was half deep, and when spring came, the ice had not yet melted, and the ice in the river was cracking into small blocks, making the sound of a bulge, squeezing through the water.
the blizzard keeps going down and dancing.
one day a snowbird flew to the chinooks with a red thing in his mouth.
at a time when she threw the red part of her mouth in the snow, under the terror of the people, the chinooks were aware.
the spring has come not far from them, but it is they who are still a harsh winter and the earth is frozen.
they thought it was strange to know what was going on, and then they came down to the clan house to discuss why winter was not over and how winter could be lost.
after much debate, one of the oldest elders of the whole family stood up and said, “when did the ancients say that if someone had hit a bird with a stone, the snow would go on and on and on and on and on, would the children of the family have hit a bird with a rock?” listening to the old man, the chief ordered the whole clan to bring all the children to the meeting.
each of the children was then interrogated separately and each responded to the question raised.
every mother is sweating for her children and afraid of her children.
kids say they didn't hit a bird with a rock, and then they point at a little girl and say, "she did!" the old man said to the parents of the little girl, "is your daughter right?" the little girl admitted, in fear, that she had struck a bird with a stone.
both the little girl and her father and mother were scared and waited for the leaders to decide.
the leaders had a long discussion.
finally, the chief stood up and said, "give us your daughter!" we won't scold her.
we'll marry her to winterfell.
that way, winter goes to spring." little girls have very sad parents because they only have one daughter.
but they are also reasonable, knowing that the interests of all people are much more important than the lives of one human being, not to mention their own daughter.
when the leaders took the girls away, they sent many gifts to their parents to thank them for their upbringing.
the parents of a young girl are crying as if her daughter was no longer alive。
