Yang Yuhuan's favorite yoga poses
Nowadays, many websites will mention the yoga postures that a certain star loves, or directly label a certain female star who "studies hard" as a yoga spokesperson. In fact, in terms of diligence and dedication in cultivation, coupled with fame and qualifications, all female celebrities are not as good as the person I mentioned. She is Yang Yuhuan.
I forget which book I have read that shortly after giving birth, Yang Yuhuan recovered more enchanting than before giving birth. One day, the emperor visited her bedroom and saw the imperial concubine lying prone on the bed, grabbing her feet from behind with her hands, raising her head, and shaking her body back and forth. After Yang Yuhuan's palace maid explained, the emperor realized that his beloved concubine was doing exercise. So, the emperor praised,"No wonder my beloved concubine recovered so quickly. So this is the secret!"
The pose Yang Yuhuan made at that time was the "bow pose" in yoga. When doing this action, the body is centered on the waist and the two ends are lifted towards the center. From a distance, it looks like an open bow and arrow.
"Bow stance" is one of the classic movements in yoga. This action has an effect on all muscles in the body. It stretches the back muscles and eliminates the pain and fatigue caused by overwork; strengthens the chest and abdomen muscles, relaxes the hip and shoulder muscles, and makes the joints flexible; and stretches and strengthens the muscles of the hands, legs, and neck.
However, the "bow stance" of yoga practice does not require shaking back and forth, and Yang Yuhuan himself has personally tried it. When shaking, the back muscles are more tense than when they are still, so it is suggested that it can be used as a variation of the "bow stance". People who practice yoga regularly and people with soft bodies can give it a try.
The "bow" can also have an effect on internal organs. It can accelerate blood circulation, improve liver and kidney functions, and has special effects on symptoms such as gastrointestinal dysfunction, constipation, indigestion and abnormal liver function; it also nourishes the pancreas and can effectively prevent and treat diabetes. The "bow" can stimulate and adjust to various endocrine glands, especially the thyroid gland. Good for the pelvic area and reduces the accumulation of fat around the waist.
