But this kind of life has completely changed after I came into contact with yoga, and my life has been changed since then. At first, I only practiced yoga for rehabilitation. I didn't expect that after practicing, I would have unexpected gains and results. In addition to improving my original physical problems, I also allowed my body, mind and spirit to grow. Problems such as the rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the knee joint, and protrusion of the lumbar vertebra and shoulder disc all gradually returned to normal. Moreover, because I continued to practice yoga, my body became healthier and more flexible. Even my attending doctor, Chen Zhihua, director of the surgical department of Keelung Chang Gung Hospital, was surprised by my change and even stepped forward to endorse me. In addition, my shoulders, which were originally 16 and a half inches, are now only 15 and a half inches. The friends around me all tell me that I am getting more and more beautiful and looking better and better.
I feel that my body is no longer just a tool for making money. It is my treasure. Practicing yoga is like sowing seeds. As long as you carefully irrigate and slowly cultivate, the seed of your body will become a big tree. Yoga is like air, sunshine, and water, which can give nutrients to your body and nourish your body. Now I treasure my body very much, and I will definitely take good care of it and regard it as my closest partner.
And my changes began to affect the people around me. My friends came into contact with yoga because of me and began to regain their physical health. Whenever someone makes my body healthy because of this, I feel so happy. I hope that I can continue to be a yoga teacher when I am 60 or 70 years old, pass on my concept of health to everyone, and let everyone experience "good health". With the saying, you never have to worry about being unable to take care of yourself when you are old.
