Left hand tea house right hand yoga (photo)
There is such a place where tea and yoga can actually be integrated, maintaining health and nourishing the heart, which ordinary people would never expect.
This place is the newly opened Meidao Yoga Club near Merrill Coast. Here, you can take a teahouse with your left hand and yoga with your right hand, calm your mind and let yourself enjoy a peaceful and beautiful time.
[1] When tea ceremony meets yoga
Meidao Yoga Club is divided into two parts: a small teahouse on the left and a yoga studio on the right. The owner Huang Wei comes from Anhua, Hunan, the hometown of black tea. She is also a senior yoga instructor in the industry.
When it comes to integrating a teahouse and a yoga studio to build this Meidao yoga studio, Huang Wei told reporters that this was both a coincidence and a result of Tao.
In her view, tea ceremony and yoga have the same effect on people. We usually practice yoga, which can be divided into three levels-starting from the rough, then to the delicate, and finally entering the subtle.
Opening up your body is the first level of yoga practice, which is called the rough level and the most basic level. The second level is a delicate level, which enters the body from the body and regulates nerves, blood circulation, capillaries and other parts that we cannot see. The third level is the subtle level, that is, the adjustment of the mind, peace of mind, introspection, and return.
When it comes to the tea ceremony, these three levels are almost exactly the same. Health first, then nourish the heart, and enjoy the pleasure that tea brings to people. The spirit of the tea ceremony starts from the rough and progresses to the subtle level. It is the connection between the two.
So Huang Wei blended tea with yoga to provide urban people with a place to meditate and practice.
[2] Calm your mind and meditate on the beautiful road
The enjoyment in Meidao can be like this.
One sunny afternoon, I stole half a day's life. Under the leadership of an Indian yoga instructor, I stretched my rigid body from the computer through various postures of standing, kneeling, sitting, lying and standing, playing self-massage and traction. The effect is to open up the veins and acupuncture points of the human body, promote blood circulation, and enhance metabolism.
The practice of yoga is inherently associated with meditation. While practicing various poses, it also helps us understand ourselves better. Look inward and look inward, a kind of return.
The yoga classroom here is simple, generous, comfortable and warm. Under the touch of the gentle breeze, try to open yourself, whether it is your body or your heart. Relaxation is the key word here. Complete relaxation of body and mind is realized in such a space.
After finishing yoga class, you can move to the teahouse next to you,"sigh" and soak in the famous Anhua black tea, and enjoy the sensory pleasure brought by the tea ceremony.
Of course, you can also do the opposite,"sigh" tea first, then yoga, and do whatever you want.
Huang Wei's hometown is Anhua. Anhua black tea is one of the famous teas in ancient China. It belongs to one of the six major tea categories: green, black, red, yellow, white and green. It is known as "official tea." It was once out of production in the 1950s. It was not until the 2010 Shanghai World Expo that Anhua black tea re-entered the public's vision and quickly became a new favorite.
[3] The fat, spicy, sweet and authentic taste
Black tea has the saying of "three tips and four bricks". The three tips refer to Tianjian, Gongjian and Shengjian. It is processed from fresh leaves from the rainy season. It has a dark color, a sweet taste, and a mellow taste. The four bricks are tiles, black bricks, Fu bricks and blue bricks.
Dark tea can be brewed or brewed. On the day of the interview, Huang Wei personally went into battle and provided us with a very delicious Tianjian. But I saw her operating skillfully and telling us ten ways to taste tea, each of which was exquisite.
The first step is to appreciate tea. You like to smell the old fragrance. Those with obvious old fragrance are better, and those with musty and peculiar smell are low-grade.
The second step is to boil the water. The water temperature should be 100 degrees Celsius. When boiling water, the fire should be rushed.
The third step is to wash the tea to wash away the vicissitudes of life. The first tea is usually not drunk, but is used to raise the pot and wash the cup.
The fourth step is to boil tea, called hanging out Chen Yun. After boiling water into the pot, the color of the tea soup gradually deepens, and the first bubble is red.
The fifth step is to pour tea, called equal autumn, tea ceremony before everyone is equal, there are several people have several cups, each cup should be consistent in intensity, how much should be equal.
The sixth step is called eye taste, instant cloud, watch a layer of cloud floating on the surface of black tea soup in the cup, the black tea soup is bright red, the surface is a layer of faint milky mist, calm down, enjoy the imagination
The seventh step nose taste, the aroma of black tea will change with the number of brewing times, these slight changes will take you to the distant years, time back with the tea fragrance appears, the world changes, thousands of changes, all in silence.
The eighth step is to taste tea, so that the fragrance, charm, tea flavor and tea flavor can be dispersed in the mouth. The sense of history continues to extend and extend in tea tasting, and we enter the ninth step of tea tasting.
The ninth step is to aftertaste. Be sure to aftertaste. It tastes good and is not afraid of taste. The more you chew, the more it is worth chewing.
China people pay attention to being reserved and never be satisfied with everything. The so-called withdrawing when it is good is the tenth step of the black tea tea ceremony, thanking tea. If good black tea is brewed and cooked well, it can be soaked in dozens of bubbles, and each dish has different aroma and water quality. It really needs to taste it carefully and slowly understand it.
As the saying goes, the fat, spicy, sweet, but not the true taste, but the true taste is only light; the magic and outstanding are not the most important thing, but the most important thing is only the usual thing. In the process of tasting this black tea, we didn't notice what was happening outside the window. The busy traffic and people coming and going outside seemed to have been stripped of our present. We meditate in such a period of time and completely forget ourselves. (Editor in charge: Chen Shaopeng)
