Third: Yoga can regulate and beautify your skin. Yoga plays a self-massaging role in internal organs through various postures such as pushing, pulling, twisting, squeezing, and stretching, strengthens physiological functions, regulates endocrine, makes the body's metabolism better, delays aging, and always maintains a youthful and beautiful appearance.
Differences between yoga and other health care systems
The purpose of yoga postures is to develop the character of the body, spirit and soul, which has profound meaning and value, while pure exercise only provides the physical effects of muscles and bones. Gymnastics goes fast and there are many deep breaths. Acrobatic gymnastics and weightlifting gymnastics are suitable for healthy people to develop agility and major muscles. In particular, the major muscles require more nutrition and a large amount of blood supply. As a result, the heart has to work hard and the respiratory system also works hard. In this way, the vitality in the body will be exhausted. After doing these exercises, young people feel adapted and healthy, but as they get older, their function is retarded. Due to excessive use of cartilage of bones and joints, rigidity and rheumatism begin to occur. Overdeveloped muscles become slack and lose their firmness, and muscle tissue becomes fat. Even young people, if they stop exercising, fat will quickly accumulate in areas where the muscles are prominent. Gymnastics, weightlifting and other sports are not for everyone. The sick and weak cannot do it, and of course young children and the elderly cannot do it.
Choose the yoga that suits you
Some people are worried that their muscles and bones will be stiff and they may not be able to withstand the "torture" of various strange yoga postures. Wang Juan, a coach at Jingyuan Yoga Studio, believes that such concerns are unnecessary. "Yoga asana" refers to maintaining a certain comfortable movement or posture for a period of time, using some static movements of twisting and stretching to stimulate glands, massage internal organs, relax nerves and muscles, and strengthen the body. It is said that these asanas were imitated by ancient yogis observing animal movements and resting in the Himalayas. There are thousands of asanas created by various yoga sects, but only dozens of them have been really passed down and are often practiced, such as Cobra, Peacock, Fish, and Locust. Perhaps the most common yoga pose is the "Lotus Sitting Style". When meditating, the upper body is straight and the two insteps are pressed against the thighs. Of course, this is not easy for many people to do. Usually the first lesson for beginners is "breathing". Yoga emphasizes breathing through the nose. Calm and slow deep breathing can relax the tense body and mind. Every time you practice a posture, there is a corresponding breathing pattern. Sometimes the body is required to maintain a certain posture and breathe naturally, and sometimes you are required to hold your breath for a few seconds. Before practicing yoga asana, do warm-up exercises first to soften your bones, joints, and muscles to avoid strain during practice. Warm up more areas where muscles and bones are difficult to relax, and beginners should do more. After practicing postures, you should also have a full-body massage, especially the joints. Yoga has a lot of movements to twist and stretch the trunk and limbs, so the clothing should be loose. You should not practice within two hours after a meal. When the nostrils are not smooth, breathing is affected, and there are many postures that should not be practiced. The practice place needs to be quiet and ventilated. Yoga is not like aerobic dancing or jogging, you can practice it yourself. There are methods to breathe, and there are certain procedures and progress to practice postures. If you want to learn yoga well, you should seek help from a professional teacher. Otherwise, it may easily lead to physical injury, and in severe cases, it may lead to physical disability. Rong Min, an international coach at Jingyuan Yoga Studio, pointed out that most people practice yoga and only know about exercise but not mechanics and breathing. In some non-authentic yoga teaching centers in other places, they use gymnastics or boxing movements as yoga, which has injured many yoga students. People who have never learned yoga have difficulty distinguishing what authentic yoga is. Yoga is different from ordinary exercise. It emphasizes willpower and is driven by the waist and abdomen, from the inside to the outside, and then combined with breathing to self-recover the effect. Therefore, teachers who pay attention to breathing coordination are usually more authentic. (Internship Editor: Shi Yixiong)
