What is Mongolian and Tibetan yoga

The Himalayas region was affected by the arrival of lotus nuts. Yoga in Xizang flourished unprecedentedly from the seventh century AD to the 14th century. India was almost extinct due to foreign invasion. Here is a brief explanation of its basic qi, pulse, and clear point. The three secrets of body and finger prints, sound, and study of meaning, observation and meditation are corresponding. Summary: There are three aspects of external secret yoga: divided into

Ministry (Zuomi, Kriya Tantra)

Travel Department (Xiu Mi, Upa Tantra, Carya)

Yoga Department (Yoga Tantra)

Also known as the "Lower Three Yoga", it was introduced to the Han Dynasty during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty by three great scholars: Vajra Wisdom, Good and Fearless, and Empty Sanzang. Monk Konghai (Master Hongfa) was passed down by Master Huiguo and brought back to Japan. It is now spread in Japan and is also known as "Dongmi".

Ministry of affairs (secret): The characteristics are that it pays attention to things and forms, and the mandala is solemn. The practitioner does not view the deity himself, but begs from the deity for achievement. It is also called "following the Lord and begging to know the land." The practitioner obeys the precepts like practicing the Dharma, and can achieve them in seven generations. (There is another person who talks about the 16th generation)

Xingbu (cultivating secret): For fewer things, practitioners can also observe themselves, but the main thing is to ask for blessings and achievements from the mandala deity. It is also known as "begging for knowledge of the earth from the companion." Practitioners, practitioners can abide by the precepts like Dharma and practice for five generations. (Another person said that the seventh generation)

Yoga Department: Less things, yoga means "corresponding". The cultivation of "Enter Me and Enter Me" corresponds to the opposite life of the Buddhas. The body, mouth, and intention of the person who changes career are the Buddhas, mouth, and intention, but there are still welcoming and sending, and there are differences between the Buddhas and the practitioners."Welcome and send the Buddhas". The practitioners can achieve this by adhering to the precepts and practicing the Dharma for three lives.

Inner secret Sanavada Yoga: collectively referred to as the "Supreme Yoga Department", is characterized by understanding one's own mind guided by enlightenment. The so-called "cultivation" means "self-forming oneself" all the time, that is, living in the mind is me, and the body is me. The realization that you can omit many things and even need not even deliberately seek the blessing of the external Buddha.

From "external secret" to "internal secret", from "birth order" to "great consummation order", the starting point is more straightforward, and if the root instrument is corresponding, the achievement will be faster.

Before giving the following more detailed introduction, in short, the "birth secondary place" purifies the confusion and attachment of the external phase, the "consummation secondary place" purifies the entanglement of the karmic, emotional and qi veins in the body, and the "great consummation secondary place" takes non-life and realizes the reality of "originally pure".

Great Yoga (Maha Yoga, the second rank of birth and birth, called "Faxu" by the New Translation School)

In short, sentient beings do not recognize the reality of the external world and choose the changes of the external world, resulting in inner pain and cannot be freed. In order to purify their erroneous awareness of the external world, they practice the "Buddha-Yoga" of "birth next". That is, as everyone knows, Tantra follows a certain Buddha-like ritual to practice visualization, making seals, holding curses, etc., which correspond to the "three secrets" of the Buddha-like. The main reason is that "all take six roots, and the pure thoughts come one after another","replace the false phase with the pure phase, and enter the real phase", and understand that "the heart is me, and the body is me", not only is blessed by the external Buddhas, but also reveals the self-Buddhas, with a two-pronged approach, cultivate the achievable incarnation achievement. (Note: These names and descriptions are of great significance. If you want to understand them in depth, you should follow your teacher and study them. This is just an outline and there is no time to explain them in depth.)

The so-called "birth first stage" or "Buddha yoga" is based on a certain statue chosen by destiny (note: Tantra calls it "Buddha "). At the beginning of the enlightenment, we understand that the body of the self and the external body is originally pure. We practice the reality of" the nature of the body is pure, the sound nature is pure, and the consciousness is pure ". We regard ourselves and all beings as the Buddha, the external environment is pure, the sound is the mantra, and the mind is the function of the self. All take six roots, giving birth to the pure figure in the heart to purify its meaning, and cultivating life according to the fruit can eventually enter into the original reality, so they get this name. At this time, the practitioner has exerted the power of his self and not only relies on the blessing power of his external self.

In the royal palace of Xizang, the scriptures of "Great Yoga" and "Unparalleled Yoga" descended from the sky, and were personally empowered by Vajra Satuo. Big yoga is divided into "continuation" and "repair". The slag king passed the order to Kukuraza. After Kukuraza achieved his achievements, he gave a message to the slag king and passed it down to Master Lian Huasheng several times. The "Xiubu" has "Jiao Zhuan" and "Yan Zhuan", which are passed down to Lian Huasheng, the chief director of the Grand Master.

Anu Yoga (Anu Yoga, Full-Life, New Translation School calls it "Muxu", also known as "Suishun Yoga" or "Suishun Yoga ")

In short, even if all beings know the truth that "the heart is me", if the qi pulse that produces troublesome emotions in their bodies has not been regulated, although they have some understanding in theory, they are not easy to be effective in terms of facts. In order to purify the emotions and qi pulse in their bodies and the troubles and delusions they cause, cultivate the "consummation order" qi, pulse, and bright point. If you cultivate it, you will achieve personal success.

Cultivating the "birth order" is named after separate assumptions and visualizations, focusing on the broad appearance. However, cultivating the "level of consummation" focuses on viewing the mandala inward. The practitioner himself has sufficient qi, pulse, and clarity, and the conditions needed for achievement are already in place. Practice only makes him "consummation". Make the "qi" clear and smooth, and achieve "emptiness"; the "pulse" is soft and transparent, and achieve "joy"; the "bright point" purifies and sublimates, and achieve "light". When the qi enters the middle meridian, the qi in the heart is consistent, revealing the true wisdom of separation from thoughts (Note: This means that the emotional energy that is blocked in each chakra and will produce delusion and worries will be transformed into wisdom and bright qi, so that the pure light energy of the self can be separated and revealed). After cultivating, not only will the mind be enlightened to see the nature and understand the "body", but the mind can control the mutual transformation of qi and energy to use it, creating a magical power and a wonderful "use". The inheritance was passed down to the slag king by the Vajra Hand (i.e., the general trend to the Bodhisattva). However, in order to respect the Dharma, the slag king still asked the world to hold Minglai Zahua to enlighten him. The last five passed down to Master Lian Huasheng.

Ati Yoga (the Second Order of the Great Perfection, the New Translation School calls it "Wuersu", also known as "Extreme Yoga".)

To cultivate the great perfection,"enter the original purity (the Tibetan pronunciation" Che Qu ")"and" Dunchao Ren Yun (the Tibetan pronunciation "Tuoga ")". For the 6.4 million verses left by Master Shengxi Vajra, Master Miao Jixiangyou chose to be the "Heart Department","Boundary Department", and "Mani Department":

1. "Heart" explores the mind through methods such as analyzing the mind, focusing on indicating that "all methods are related to the mind."

2. "Boundary Department" focuses on indicating that "all laws should be empty from ontology."

3. The "pithy formula" or "heart essence" does not analyze thoughts through meaning, but directly points out the body at the moment, and all dharma are manifestations of the clear body. Master Lian Huasheng focuses on the "formula part" because it already includes the "heart part" and the "boundary part". The "Great Perfection" method is based on the direct point of recognizing that the essence of absence from the cover is all born of wisdom and revealing the supreme wisdom of liberation. It is not the nirvana wisdom of cultivating the sound and stopping the delusion to eliminate all suffering.

The Great Perfection is inherited from the Dharmakaya Samantabhadra King Tathai to the Samurai Vajra Satuo, and then to the first ancestor of the world, Shengxi Vajra. Several generations later, it was mainly divided into two branches: Master Lotus Huasheng and Master Wugui Friends. In modern times, it was Master Long Qinba who gathered his achievements.

Let's talk about the next stages of "birth","consummation" and "great consummation":

"The Buddha Yoga of" Born Next "

In fact, the three types of yoga practices all contain the orders of birth, consummation and great consummation, which are inseparable and classified as easy to explain the theory.

Why should we cultivate the "birth order"? Because the reincarnation sentient beings rely on the karmic five senses and eight senses to grasp the external realm, and only see their "appearance" and "function" but not the "noumenon" of nature, they create confusion and create karma and fall into reincarnation. In order to purify this confusing and unknowing reality, we have been enlightened, passed on, and taught Dharma, pointing out how to fully understand the essence through phenomena and see the "nature" under this "appearance" and "function", so that practitioners can begin to understand "the nature of nature is based on emptiness, the sound is based on emptiness, and the mind is based on emptiness" and obtain the entry of self-liberation.

After receiving the Dharma, when "sitting on the seat" is practiced according to the ritual rules, it is to use the Dharma to return to the source in a relatively static and non-interference situation, and to thoroughly understand what the "color, sound, and thoughts" are. Among the five senses and eight senses of humane beings, the eyes and ears are particularly sensitive, coupled with thoughts, are the function of the general "heart". Therefore, Tantra focused on "body, mouth, and mind", and this "correspondence of the three secrets" governed the "six roots of all". When the "intention" is enabled, it will become "mind emptiness" and "self emptiness". When the "hue and sound" of the "body and mouth" are enabled, it will become "environment emptiness" and "law emptiness". One can achieve success by realizing the "emptiness" of man and the "emptiness" of law. "Emptiness" means being broad.

The practice of "sitting down" is to remain unconfused when experiencing opposition while moving. In this way, from the ordinary person's "confusion and unconsciousness" to the practitioner's "awareness but not constant", it is because the true figure and pure form all take six strands. From dispersion to meditation, they gradually merge into one to "always feel and not be confused", and from supreme enlightenment, they can eradicate the seeds of chronic disasters and confuse habits to achieve enlightenment.

"Why are the" birth stage "," consummation stage "and" great consummation stage "inseparable?"

This part of "human emptiness and Dharma emptiness" is the "great consummation stage", so there is no "birth stage" to cultivate away from the "great consummation stage".

When the mind rests and stays in peace and tranquility, the qi pulse does not adjust and adjusts itself. In addition, observing the void in the body and observing the wisdom in the mind when holding a mantra also belong to the "perfection order." Therefore, the "birth order" also includes some of the cultivation methods of the "consummation order".

Comparison between inner secrets and outer secrets:

There are differences in insight and practice, but they all require enlightenment. "Outer Secret" is more laborious and difficult to cultivate. It emphasizes etiquette, cleanliness, and vegetarian food. In terms of perspective, there are more binary opposites than the "supreme secret continuity". They view the deity as an external king or companion. The level of practice focuses on "breaking away from confusion and obtaining wisdom", using purity to regulate the unclean treatment, rather than "turning confusion into wisdom, that is, confusion and wisdom", knowing that the original is "not dirty or unclean." The external secret cultivation of Dharma and view the void in front of the Buddha, and as a practitioner, practice visualization, chanting, holding incantations, concentration, etc., so that the Buddha can rejoice and give achievements, cover obstacles and be purified, and the mind and wisdom of the Buddha can be united to purify the mind, purify the ignorance, birth and enlightenment. For example, after diligent Dharma practice, it takes seven generations to achieve enlightenment, five generations to achieve enlightenment, and three generations to achieve enlightenment. Most of them are single and harmonious. Take a pure phase in silence and cultivate alone.

The Dongmi enlightenment from the Tang Dynasty to Japan only had the first of the fourth-level enlightenment of the Zangmi Supreme Yoga Department, which can be said to lay the foundation for the practice of the Supreme Yoga Department.

"Inner Secret" does not pay much attention to the practice of making things, nor does it choose the purity of the external environment. Instead, it takes the source of the heart and the body without life, and sees the equality of the law blindly. You can wear animal skins, eat meat, and have a family (Note: There are different views and practices, different from ordinary people who do not cultivate). If you go through diligent Dharma practice, you may realize Tao in life, death, or bardo. You can cultivate a single or dual figure, a peaceful or angry figure. It can be repaired anywhere, such as a corpse forest, a tomb or a city. His cultivation does not focus on suppressing and transforming, or selecting a certain external phase or environment in particular. Instead, he "takes the body without life" when all realms of good and evil arise, and realizes the unsullied and unpurified nature of "trouble is Bodhi". He does not control, follow, and turn. All illusory manifestations self-destruct themselves in the realm of equality and blind great perfection. There is no real life. If the heart is pure, the earth is pure, and it is originally free.

"Inner Secret" is also called "Supreme Yoga Secret" compared to "Ministry of Action, Department of Action, and Department of Yoga." The characteristic is that it directly introduces the self-nature to have the three bodies of law, law, and transformation. The self-nature is a Buddha and is no different from the external deity. Moreover, if the heart is pure, the earth is pure, that is, the heart is me, and the body is me. A practitioner always becomes a self-body, omitting many aspects of things and rituals. However, you need to get a complete enlightenment professor from a certified guru to understand the key insights of your mind and connect with inheritance and blessings. Only then can you have a starting point to practice directly in the fruit place and achieve the original reality. The popular Xizang tantra is also known as "Tibetan tantra" and also has three tantra continuations, but the main tantra continuation is the "Supreme Yoga" tantra continuation.

The "Supreme Yoga Department" focuses on the "Dharma of Achievement", which is the self-embodied figure that achieves the truth. Unlike some other departments, they specialize in the "Dharma of Career" and seek relative external Buddhas to help alleviate disasters, gain, embrace, subjugate and other causes, and gain the power of the world. Practicing the "Achievement Method" corresponds to the self-nature Buddha, which is naturally protected by the external Buddha and his family members. If self-reliance and other efforts are used, then all the dignity of the body, speech, and speech can achieve the cause of the Buddha.

Generally speaking, people call themselves "Tantra","Shin Sect" mostly belong to the "Dongmi", and the Tibetan Tantra Supreme Yoga Sect is called "Vajrayana". People with discerning eyes will know which one belongs to by looking at the rituals and external manifestations they practice.

The above explains the differences between the "Shitar, Shitar, Yoga" and the "Supreme Yoga" in terms of insight, directness, and practice skills, but we must not take it out of context and underestimate the "Lower Three Yoga". Although the "Supreme Yoga Department" has high insights, the roots of some sentient beings may not correspond to it. If no enlightened guru responds to your roots and teaches you to clear obstacles, raise funds, gain peace, and move forward with wisdom, so that the basic conditions can be established and the body and mind can be purified to a certain extent, this "high-insight wisdom" is not easy to continue and can easily fall into the mantra. Just like according to Mahayana's "development" and "insight", we still need the foundation of Hinayana's "keeping precepts" and "practicing"(Internship Editor: Wu Jinyu)
