This always puts me under a lot of pressure and often feels like I am impatient. Since I came into contact with yoga, I do some simple exercises at home every night before going to bed. My impatient mood can quickly calm down, my body relaxes a lot, and my sleep at night is very good.

Many men have health problems and devote themselves to work for a long time and ignore physical exercise. I have a deep understanding of this. In the past, whenever the weather turned cold, I didn't pay much attention to the addition or reduction of clothes, so I always liked to catch a cold and cough. When the brain is tired, many functions will be affected. I remember once working overtime until 1 o'clock at noon, and there was an important meeting to be held at 1:30. After a hasty meal, there was no time for a nap. So I sat in the armchair and meditated using the method taught by yoga, and quickly entered a semi-hazy state while adjusting my breathing. Half an hour later, my mind was exceptionally clear, even better than the rest of a nap. Since then, I have often used yoga meditation instead of napping to relax my brain.

The "three yoga styles" I often use

Another advantage of yoga is that it does not choose the time or place. We don't have to go to a yoga center to practice. We just need to buy a yoga book and master a few basic postures, and we can do it at home. The following are all my common exercise postures, and the only prop I need is an armchair.

1. Triangle style

Keep your feet apart as shoulder width, your right foot is close to the legs of the chair, and your left foot is rotated inward by about 15 degrees. Hold the chair back with your right hand, and stretch your left hand outward and upward to align your hands, and try to keep your head, neck, back, and hips in one plane. Imagine your abdomen radiating energy outward. Pay attention to adjusting your breathing. After expanding for 5 to 10 breaths while breathing, slowly relax and restore, and change sides before doing it. This position stretches your entire waist.

2. Sitting and leg-sucking posture

Sit up in the chair, put your hands on the armrest, inhale and raise your knees as close as possible to your chest, straighten your toes, hold your breath for three seconds, exhale, and gently put your feet down. Inhale again and raise your knees, lower your head, try to touch your forehead to your knees, then breathe, place your hands on the armrest, put your feet down, and relax your whole body. This position relaxes the legs, knees and shoulders, and removes fat in the legs and abdomen.

3. Ox Head Style

Sit down, straighten your legs forward, cross your right thigh with your left foot, place your left foot next to your right thigh, pay attention to straighten your body, and fold your feet and knees together as much as possible. Then put your left hand back on your back, your left hand goes around your right shoulder and goes down, and slowly hold your left hand. Keep your body upright, keep your eyes straight ahead, adjust your breathing evenly, maintain it for one second, recover, and then change sides. This posture straightens the spine, improves stiffness in the limbs and shoulders, and strengthens kidney function. This is also one of the most common postures in yoga. It is difficult and must be done step by step. If you can't do it temporarily, you can start with a simpler one.
