Practice yoga and meditation when you are exhausted
Do you feel exhausted every day? In busy and blind modern life, we constantly accept various sensory stimuli and emotional pressures, coupled with the explosion of information, our body and mind are like a cup filled with water. A little stimulation can cause people to collapse. Various physical and mental diseases emerge one after another. Take ten minutes of meditation every day to bring your body and mind to zero.
What exactly is meditation and what benefits is it for the body? Cui Yue, a personal trainer at the Beijing Progressive Fitness Center, told reporters that meditation is a thoughtful method of focusing on a specific object. When a person's thinking continues to move in one direction, meditation is formed. According to the different postures of the body during practice, meditation is mainly divided into the following types:
1. Simple sitting meditation
Action steps: Sit on the mat, stick the center of your left foot to the inside of your right thigh, and stick the center of your right foot to the inside of your left calf in the opposite direction. Adjust your center of gravity. Lay your legs on the floor as much as possible, stand upright, retract your chin slightly, and try to Stretch your neck upwards; connect your thumbs with your index fingers (lotus fingers), palm up, keep your arms and shoulders relaxed, close your eyes, and take a deep breath with your nose.
Precautions: Always keep your back straight and never fall down.
2. Half Lotus Sitting Meditation Technique
Action steps: Sit on the mat, place your left foot on the thigh of your right leg, and your right leg remains flat on the floor. Other actions are the same as those required for simple sitting.
Precautions: After placing your left leg on the thigh of your right leg, slowly press the knee joint downward to relieve the tension in the knee.
3. Lotus Sitting Meditation Technique
Action steps: Sit on the mat, place your left foot on the thigh of your right leg, place your right foot on the thigh of your left leg, and cross your left and right calves in an X shape. Other movements are the same as those required for simple sitting.
Notes: Lotus sitting is a difficult sitting method, so you must fully move the joints of your legs and feet before practicing. It is recommended that beginners not practice this sitting method.
4. Supine meditation
Action steps: Lay your body flat on the mat, move your legs apart, put your arms naturally straight on your sides, palms up, and close your eyes.
Points to note: Your head should be straightened, your cervical spine and spine should be kept in the same straight line, keep your attention focused, and don't let yourself fall asleep.
1. Some people find it difficult to keep their backs straight all the time while meditating. It is recommended that these people put a folded towel on the tail vertebra to support the waist while meditating.
2. When beginners first start practicing, it is difficult to enter meditation in a short period of time. I suggest these people try voice meditation. The specific method is: sit down in the yoga meditation posture, close your eyes, and focus your attention. Take your breath, take a deep breath, make the sound of "O" first when exhaling, then close your lips to make the sound of "M" until the breath is completely exhaled, and then inhale and repeat, and repeat it. Pay attention to the sound you make enough for your ears to hear. Focus on the speech and experience its echo in your brain.
What can yoga meditation bring to us?
People who practice yoga are convinced that yoga meditation is a way to ensure both physical and spiritual benefits. Yoga meditation can enable practitioners to reach a peaceful state of temperament, eliminate their worries and fears, and can also allow practitioners to give up bad habits that are extremely destructive to human health, such as drinking and smoking.
As a fitness exercise, yoga has many benefits. Yoga is my wonderful realm. What's better is that its practice is not limited by the venue. It is especially suitable for white-collar women, allowing you to become beautiful and shape your body anytime and anywhere: white-collar yoga classics recommended. (Internship Editor: Wu Jinyu)
