Four steps for yoga instructors

A person who wants to learn yoga and become a good teacher must first go through yoga professional study to obtain the transformation of overall physical and mental consciousness, including: the construction of physical health, the transformation of negative complexes, the wisdom of the inner soul, and the development of innate spirituality., and other main connotations of learning. That is to grasp the connotation of these studies and put forward four practical learning essentials based on the preliminary efforts of a qualified yoga instructor:

1. Yoga exercise-learn yoga asana.

Yoga practice originated in the Indian jungle thousands of years ago. Relevant documents on yoga exist in the Indian Upanishads. Yoga practice can change a person's physical fitness, relax the muscles and muscles, revitalize the bones, unblock the meridians, and restore the secretion of dysregulated glands to normal. It can also cure diseases, beautify the face and lose weight, not to mention the help of meditation. If you operate it regularly every morning and evening, and use the time, you can gradually understand the immediate and significant effects of yoga practice on the body and mind. The overall yoga practice includes three aspects: body, mind, and spirit.

2. Healthy diet therapy-learn diet knowledge and vitality diet therapy:

The practice of "diet therapy" means gradually changing from meat to vegetarian food; and then gradually changing from traditional vegetarian food to "clean food"-vital diet (diet and food that are completely harmless to the body). The practice process also includes appropriate "fasting" therapy once or twice a year (each time for three to seven days, or even ten days). The environment in which people live (the entire earth) has been severely polluted, such as air pollution, drinking water pollution, pollution of industrial chemicals, etc. Due to ignorance or desire, people eat processed foods filled with preservatives, artificial flavors, and refined products every day, or eat pesticides remaining on fruits and vegetables without carefully handling fruits and vegetables; or overuse over-the-counter drugs or injections; Or even drugs, other irritating foods, and then accumulate various toxins in the body over time, gradually destroying the three major detoxification systems.

1. Filtration system-liver and kidney;

2. Digestive system of stomach and intestine;

3. Endocrine system-pituitary gland, adrenal gland, thyroid gland.

If toxins in the body are accumulated in the internal organs for a long time, chronic diseases will form, resulting in the gradual accumulation of diseases, the gradual loss of blessings, and the shadow of gray life.

The "fasting" exercise can effectively eliminate pathogenic toxins accumulated in cells, blood and organs, and restore the self-healing function of the body (autonomic nerves). This can be proved by the clinical symptoms of food eaters. For example during fasting:

1. The tongue of an addict grows black moss or spouts black phlegm; 2. People who often drink alcohol will have the stench of alcohol on their breath; 3. People who often inject or take over-the-counter drugs will emit a medicinal smell or develop small bumps throughout the body; 4. The stools, fat masses, toxic mucus, parasitic molds, etc. that remain in the abdomen and intestines will be gradually excreted during the fasting period. In short, the detoxification function of fasting is like squeezing a dirty sponge. All filthy things will be squeezed out, restoring organic life to health, thereby improving work efficiency and adding fun to life. If you are a yoga practitioner, it can be more helpful to meditation practice.

Tip: Although fasting has many benefits, if common sense is unknown or the method is wrong, you may not benefit but suffer from it. Therefore, if you have no experience in fasting, you must be guided by an experienced teacher before you can fasting. Remember!

3. Exploring the self-exploring the structure and essence of mind:

A qualified yoga instructor must learn to explore the self in order to understand the entire structure of the self's spiritual system, so as to penetrate into the different psychological mechanisms at each level, to unlock hidden psychological complexes, and to heal the injured spiritual senses. From a positive and in-depth perspective, it is to develop the infinite potential hidden in the deep mind and release the potentially rich vitality. Therefore, a complete psychological study includes the following tendencies: 1. Psychological emotions, the dominant phenomenon on physiological energy (qi); 2. The influence of the smoothness or blocking of physiological energy on psychological emotions; 3. The connection and interaction between the surface self-consciousness (the first six consciousnesses) and the deep subconscious (the seventh mana consciousness), and even the deepest unconscious (the eighth Araya consciousness); 4. Study and explore the principles of the entire transformation process from physical purification to emotional transformation to mental development to spiritual manifestation.

Regarding the relevant theories of exploring the self, modern Western psychology "Freud et al." and parapsychology (Ken. Wilbur et al.) is worth in-depth research and reference. The Buddhist part is {Vai-consciousness}, which belongs to the category of Buddhist yoga classics. Therefore, most of the words used to interpret psychology are Buddhist proper terms. For practitioners who are not Buddhists, they may find it difficult to use Vai-consciousness as a reference material. However, the related Buddhist theory of mind and consciousness is a theory of truth that must be referred to. If you miss it, you will inevitably regret losing the pearl.

4. Learning and experience of meditation-walking meditation and sitting meditation:

There are many methods to practice Zen meditation. For the needs of beginners, here are only two simple, easy-to-learn and safe methods-relaxation meditation and breathing training. Relaxation meditation has a great effect on regulating the brain, cerebellum, autonomic nerves, etc. of the human body. When engaging in relaxation meditation, the complex thoughts in the brain will gradually slow down, and enter meditation and stop thinking, allowing the heart to rest completely. Because the cerebellum is no longer controlled or interfered with by the messy thoughts of the brain, it can give full play to its potential spiritual power and have deeper contact with nature, and even communicate with the spiritual world (spiritual world) or other parties outside the human third dimension.

The autonomic nerves of the human body are easily affected by negative thoughts and complexes. Once unbalanced, it will lead to disorders of the endocrine system and lead to various internal organs diseases. Through the practice of relaxation and meditation, the inner autonomic nerve will naturally adjust the injured body and demonstrate its function of treating diseases-so that the meditative person can feel the comfort, peace, and joy of the body and mind while sitting. Health in the narrow sense means no disease, and health in the broad sense means that the whole person exudes brilliance, joy, and vitality.

Correct breathing training-counting and observing breathing-is also a way to recuperate the physiology, activate the sympathetic nerves, reduce blood acidification, and keep the bones and muscles bright and elastic; as well as eliminate toxins in the body and transport fresh blood from the heart to the whole body. A good method-the deeper and slower breathing, the more conducive to physiological trauma treatment and visceral strengthening, and the comprehensive adjustment of endocrine functions, so that the mind can become single-minded and sit and enjoy the light, peaceful and silent meditation.

The above four learning projects: yoga exercise, healthy diet therapy, self-exploration, and meditation meditation are necessary for a professional and qualified yoga instructor. They are the overall yoga study of "body + psychology + mind + spirituality". Learning must be followed, otherwise it will be difficult to achieve results; only under the guidance of a professional teacher (experienced), can you carry out these four learning projects at the same time to achieve long-term and significant results on your own yoga teaching path.
