A responsible father! The first thing to do is do this well

It is often seen that many women lose weight in order to have children, because many studies have shown that obesity in expectant mothers before pregnancy has lifelong or even generations of adverse effects on children's weight and cardiovascular health.

But! Men should not think that losing weight has nothing to do with them.

A new study from the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center in Georgetown, one of the eight most renowned cancer treatment research centers in the United States, shows that obesity in males (fathers) affects sperm therapy, making female offspring (daughters) more likely to develop breast cancer.

The scientists selected two groups of male mice, one group was fed normal food and the other group was fed a high-fat, high-calorie fat-inducing food. Then they were all mated with normal weight female white.

Among the last offspring born, female offspring had higher birth weights, and these offspring also had a significantly increased risk of breast cancer as adults.

Scientists examined the sperm of mouse fathers and found that the micro-ribonucleic acid (miRNA) in the sperm of obese fathers was altered, and the mutated miRNA was also found in the breast tissue of their daughters.

Although this experiment was only aimed at mice, scientists combined with many previous studies and believed that there was reason to believe that similar consequences would occur in humans.

Explanation of terms:

MicroRNA (miRNA) is a small endogenous non-coding RNA molecule that plays a key regulatory role in animals and is one of the most important regulatory factors of gene expression. Scientific research has found that there is abnormal expression of microRNA in cancer cells.

What far-reaching influence does father have on his child's life?

Obesity: Obesity in both parents increases the risk of obesity, diabetes, and brain cancer in children

Advanced age: The father is too old at the time of pregnancy, and the child is at increased risk of autism and Alzheimer's syndrome (Alzheimer's disease)

Drinking: Fathers who drink too much alcohol are more likely to have low birth weight, small heads, and impaired cognitive function

Stress: Fathers are under too much pressure, and children born after pregnancy are more likely to develop behavioral disorders

Diet moderation: Studies have found that men who abstain before puberty have a reduced risk of cardiovascular disease in their offspring and grandchildren as adults.

Even if you have passed the stage of sowing seeds and creating humans, being too heavy can cause various health problems.

A large number of studies in the United States and Europe have shown that a BMI greater than 32 can double the mortality rate. "The annual increase in deaths due to obesity in the United States ranges from 112,000 to 365,000." Obesity reduces life expectancy by an average of 6 to 7 years. Among young severely obese patients under the age of 35 (BMI>40), life expectancy for men is reduced by 20 years and for women is reduced by 5 years.

For the sake of your children's happy life, please consciously lose weight ~~
