Iran's weird custom: virgins cannot be sentenced to death

IranAccording to "Israeli", Iranian law stipulates that virgins cannot be sentenced to death. However, this law does not protect young girls, let alone trouble Iranian public servants. In response to this law, they would ask the jailer to help the girl break her virginity the night before the execution, turn the virgin into a non-virgin, and then execute the girl. This exploits a loophole in the law.

IranA member of an Iranian organization for mobilizing the poor that was inconvenient to expose revealed that in a telephone interview with "The Israeli", he told the shocking inside story of the rape of an Iranian virgin before execution. He said that Iran stipulates that young virgins are not allowed to be executed, so prisons will hold a "temporary marriage" ceremony the night before the execution. To put it bluntly, this ceremony is to ask the jailer who plays the role of the "husband" to tear the virgin apart and remove obstacles to not executing the virgin.

IranThis member pointed out that he joined the official Iranian "Basiki" organization at the age of 16. He was recognized by his superiors because of his performance. At the age of 18, he was entrusted with the "glorious task" of "temporary marriage." Even though this temporary wedding was legal, I regret it.

IranHe said,"I remember the wailing and screams of these young women every time after quitting.""What I will never forget is that a girl used her nails to scratch her face and neck after the event, leaving deep scratches all over her body." He also said that young virgins were more afraid of "temporary marriages" than executions the next morning, so they would resist, sometimes adding sleeping pills to their food to make the "wedding" go smoothly. The women who were forced into "temporary marriages" had no expression on their faces the next day, as if they were ready to accept death, or simply wanted to die.

IranTherefore, a country must not only have good laws, but also have good public servants. Otherwise, no matter how good the laws are, they cannot protect victims. Iran's laws are good, but unscrupulous public servants have exploited loopholes in the law.

Why can't Iranian virgins be sentenced to death? I think the main factor is the profound influence of the religion of Islam and the provisions of Iranian law. After all, Iran is one of the few countries in the world that still maintains the supremacy of theocracy, so the situation of Iranian women has not been liberated with several waves of women's movements in the West.
