The 21st is the day before the traditional winter solstice in China lunar calendar. A winter solstice traditional cultural activity jointly sponsored by Fujian Hanfu World Association and Fuzhou Jin 'an District Mintai Wang Shenzhi Research Association was held in Fuzhou Minwang Memorial Hall.

The first event of the event was a ceremony to pay homage to the "Eight Min People's Ancestor" King Shenzhi on the winter solstice. After the sacrificial ceremony, traditional archery experience activities were held on site. In ancient times, soldiers and civilians were united, and people were often organized to practice martial arts and practice archery during the winter farming season to promote the martial spirit. Members dressed in Hanfu held bows and arrows, showing the coexistence of bravery and elegance in traditional culture.

Among the winter solstice customs in Fuzhou, there is a special custom of rubbing "rice time"."rice time" is a winter solstice snack made of glutinous rice. In Fuzhou's traditional culture, there are many nursery rhymes, and folk customs are all closely related to the winter solstice "rice time". When kneading "rice time", glutinous rice flour needs to be kneaded into meatballs and rolled back and forth in the sugar powder, which means "the turn of times" and praying for good luck in the coming year. Therefore, it has become an important activity in Fuzhou's winter solstice tradition. At the event site, members of Fujian Hanfu World sat together, rubbing "rice time" while exchanging Fuzhou nursery rhymes and other winter solstice customs related to "rice time".
