Islamic Story: Building a House
after some time, ibrahim came to visit his son, ishmael.
he's not here as usual, not as usual, but for a big thing.
this time he was ordered to build the house (i.e.
kelpa, changed to a mosque in 630 a.d.).
at the behest of god, he came to the hanshi region without delay to find his son, but he was not in the new house he had last lived in.
ibrahim searched all the places where water was available, every tribe and tent, and finally found his son by the spring of seepage.
the son was cutting arrows there.
ishmael saw his father come and immediately laid down his life.
both parents were happy to meet, hugged and greeted each other and sat down and talked.
the father and the son spoke for a long time, and were in joy.
ibrahim said to his son, “o son, god has commanded me to build a house on this high land.” ishmael always followed his father's wishes and immediately agreed to build a house with him.
the father and son came to the place where they were prepared to build with confidence.
the strength of god has strengthened their resolve and confidence and has brought them together to dig the foundations of the pit.
and they pray unto allah: our lord, accept our prayer; verily thou knowest.
"our lord, make us submissive and make our children submissive to you." let us see the pilgrimage and accept our repentance.
you are permitted to repent, and indeed you are kind." then the father and the son did it again.
ishmael moved the stone and ibrahim himself repaired it.
soon, the base was fixed.
there is no doubt that there is an invisible power to help them, but how else can only two people take on this heavy task? the wall is rising and stretching, and ibrahim is standing on the ground and he can no longer go up, and he says to his son, “o son, find a rock, put it under my feet, so i can stand on the wall.” ishmael goes to the rocks.
he searched for a long time and finally found a big black stone.
he moved the black stone to his father's feet, and ibrahim stood above it and continued his work.
the father and the son fixed the side and then went on to fix it and built it until the ceiling was repaired.
since then, the ceiling has become a place for muslims to meet once a year.
the heart of man is there to answer abraham's call: “o lord, provide for people a portion of the fruits that they may give thanks.”
