Yoga breathing techniques throat breathing

Laryngeal breathing is also known as victory breathing, which can be combined with laryngeal breathing at any time and in any position. Throat breathing is second nature for yoga practitioners.

Method:

Basically breathing through both nostrils, contracting the larynx and glottis when inhaling and exhaling, creating snoring similar to during sleep.

a. Inhale through both nostrils, with the glottis half-open and half-closed, giving off snoring.

b. Contract the abdomen, expand the chest, and perform the jaw closing method

c. Hold your breath (within your ability) and breathe out only from your left nostril

d. Relax the jaw closing method.

When breathing through the throat, you usually take deep breaths, and you can also do this exercise under shallow breaths.

Effectiveness:

(1) Regulate the nervous system and relieve insomnia;

(2) When you feel tired after practicing postures and adjusting breathing, take the larynx breathing method for resting breathing to quickly restore energy;

(3) Reduce heart rate and play an auxiliary treatment role in hypertension;

(4) Calm your mind and enhance your awareness of yoga meditation;

(5) Sound waves can massage the bottom of the brain;

Note:

(1) Do not protrude your abdomen when doing the second exercise;

(2) Try to relax your facial muscles;
