Yoga Pranayama Victory Qi Control Method
Victory Qi Control Method (Recumbent Position)
You can also call it modulated inhalation. Let's first briefly understand the qi-making method. This is mainly about using air for exercise. As we know, air has several characteristics. The air breeds life and also has the ability to absorb, activate and massage. The air is regarded as a great purifier and a provider of life to the internal organs of the human body. When practicing the qi-making method, the human body makes full use of this characteristic of air.
The Victory Childlike Method can be practiced in two ways: 1) standing posture;2) lying posture. The former works best. However, the first method is more difficult to do, while the second method is simple and easy to implement.
ready position
You should first know that this exercise is divided into four steps. Exhale through your mouth; inhale through your nostrils; hold the air you breathe in; exhale through your mouth.
These steps are performed in the following order:
1. Exhale all the air in your body continuously and quickly through your mouth. Exhale at the speed of a whistle. Gas is exhaled between the lips, and other facial tissues remain motionless. Keep your body relaxed when doing this exercise. The abdomen contracts when exhaling. When all the gas has been exhausted, the horse begins the second exercise.
2. Inhale slowly through both nostrils, not too quickly. Breain as much air as possible without effort, but not too much. Also keep your body relaxed when doing this exercise, and your abdomen expands when you inhale.
3. At the end of the inhalation, hold your breath and do the following: Put your toes together and straighten them forward, and tighten your legs. The abdomen gradually contracts inward. Stretch your hands out and tighten your entire body muscles to a moderate degree. Then hold this position. During the first week of practice, this position is held for 3-5 seconds, and after the second or third week, it can be increased to 5-10 seconds. In short, the breath-holding position lasts as long as possible, but it must be based on the principle that the body feels comfortable.
4. But after the posture has been maintained for the required time, exhale through your mouth as described in section 1. Breathe out steadily, constantly and controlled, without being too hasty. When you call, start to relax the muscles in various parts of your body from down. Relax your chest, then relax your abdomen, thighs, calves, and hands in turn. When the air in your body is exhausted, the muscles in your body should relax at the same time. At this point, you have completed the Victory Qi-Making Method. Rest for 5-6 seconds.
5. At rest, inhale and exhale through your nostrils. After taking a break, repeat the method described.
daily practice
On the first day of practice, do it 3 times. Four times on the second day and five times on the third day. Do not practice more than 5 times at a time. This is the maximum allowed for each practice. If someone wants to do qi-making twice a day, the interval between the two times is 8 hours. Remember that you are using yoga to try to control your breathing, and you cannot practice it too quickly. Early morning and evening are the best practice times I recommend.
benefits
Although you will learn its standing posture in the future, I would like to make it clear that the recumbent posture has all the benefits of standing posture to control qi. However, for practitioners of any age and any physical condition, the recumbent position is safe and easy to learn. It is recommended that if you have high blood pressure, low blood pressure, heart disease, and people taking narcotic drugs, you should practice the recumbent victory qi control method before his body recovers.
It can combine external control and regulation to purify, activate and strengthen the interior of the human body. For asthma patients and people with breathing problems, the greatest effect of this set of qi-making methods is to strengthen the lungs and bronchi. It can also improve our mood and relax the body. It is recommended that you slowly realize the huge benefits it brings to you in an air circulation environment. (Internship Editor: Wu Jinyu)
