Five tips to reduce eating fat

The monounsaturated fats found in olive oil and rapeseed oil are more heart-healthy than the saturated fats and trans fats found in animal and processed foods.

But overall, we eat far more fat than we need for health, and reducing the absorption of excess fat is a good health strategy. Here are some simple tips that you can apply in your daily diet:

1。Drink skimmed milk or 1% milk instead of 2% or whole milk.

2。Choose fat-free meats such as chicken breast or turkey.

3。Steaming is a good way to cook vegetables, rice and fish. Steaming water does not require adding additional oil and allows food to retain its original nutrients.

4。Eat more fish-Most fish are low-fat, and even fatty fish such as salmon or mackerel contain healthy fatty acids.

5。Make the salad sauce yourself, halving the amount of oil added and using flavored vinegar, such as one containing essence or balsam or tarragon, and mixing in other interesting spices. If it is too sour, add appropriate amount of sugar. (Internship Editor: Yi Meihua)
