There are 18 major holidays in Colombia. It mainly includes: 6 fixed holidays (New Year, International Labor Day, Independence (National Day) Day, Battle of Boyaca Day, Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, Christmas); festivals that change annually according to Gregorian dates: Holy Thursday (at the end of March or early April, calculated according to the Roman lunar calendar, promulgated by the Vatican); Holy Friday (at the end of March or early April, calculated according to the Roman lunar calendar, promulgated by the Vatican). Its non-fixed festivals are generally postponed to next Monday.
