1. Stand in mountain stance.
2. Exhale and bend your trunk forward. Grab your right ankle with your left hand, place your right hand next to your right foot, and put your head or chin close to your right knee. 3. Raise your left leg as much as possible, tightening both knees. Keep lifting legs and toes up. The legs should be kept straight so that the toes will naturally point straight up rather than tip to one side.
4. Hold this pose for 20 seconds and breathe evenly. Inhale, lower your left leg, and return to mountain stance.
5. Repeat this integrated pose on the other side, this time placing your left leg on the ground, raising your right leg, and maintaining the pose on both sides for the same time.
